How do I create an Inksquad account?

Tap Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google on the welcome screen. We use only your email and display name — no passwords, nothing else. Your first sign-in also creates your profile automatically.

How do I create a new tattoo project?

From the Projects tab tap the + button. Enter a name and, optionally, a description, dimensions (cm or inches), preferred city and country, body parts and tattoo styles. Save and your project is ready.

What can I do in AI Studio?

AI Studio turns prompts and references into tattoo designs. You can generate images, edit them, create alternatives, remove the background, upscale, and even try a design on a body photo.

How do I buy credits?

Go to Profile → Credits → Buy credits. We offer three packs (5, 10, 25 credits) via secure Stripe payment. On iOS and web we use cards; on Android we use Google Pay and cards.

Open the Explore tab and filter by city, country, tattoo style or body part. Artists marked as publicly visible appear; you can view their portfolio and contacts.

Can I add reference images to my project?

Yes. Open your project, tap Edit, then Add images. You can upload photos of inspiration, placement references or previous tattoos.

How much does an AI operation cost?

It depends on the operation and quality: generation starts at 0.5 credits, editing at 2, background removal at 0.5, upscale at 2, try-on at 1. Enhanced prompts add 0.5 credits per use. Exact prices are always shown before you confirm.

Credits do NOT expire. Use them any time, on any operation.

Can I contact an artist from the app?

Yes. On the artist profile tap Contact — it offers email, phone or the artists preferred channel (Instagram, WhatsApp). Some studios only accept reservations — look for the badge.

How do I change my display name?

Open Profile → Edit profile, update Display name and tap Save. The new name will appear immediately across your projects and AI threads.

Where are my images stored?

In a private Supabase bucket accessible only through your authenticated session. Images are never public unless you explicitly share a project.

Does Inksquad use my content to train AI?

No. Your prompts and uploads are used to deliver the service you requested (generation, edit, try-on). They are not used to train third-party models.

How do I request a reservation at a studio?

A style biases the AI toward a specific aesthetic — e.g. Fine Line, Traditional, Realism, Japanese. Pick one in the Styles browser; changing style mid-thread re-generates with the new look.

Open our Delete Account page and fill the form with your email, display name and a short reason. Because deletion is irreversible and handled manually by our team, it is NOT immediate — we will confirm by email within a few business days.

Can I delete a project?

Yes. Open the project, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete project. Deletion is immediate for you but soft-deleted on our side for 30 days.
